Day 01Arrival - Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) to Phuentsholing

• Altitude: Bagdogra (126m / 412ft), NJP (140m / 460ft), Phuentsholing (293m / 961ft)
• Distance & Duration: 165 km, approx. 4-5 hrs drive

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station (NJP), meet our representative and proceed towards Phuentsholing. Upon arrival, complete Bhutan entry formalities at the Immigration Office with assistance from our Bhutan representative. Check into the hotel and relax.

Day 02Phuentsholing to Thimphu

• Altitude: Thimphu (2,320 m / 7,656 ft)
• Distance: 158 km | Duration: 5–6 hours (approx.)

After breakfast, check out and complete visa/permit formalities with assistance from our Bhutan representative (if not done on the day of arrival). Proceed towards Thimphu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 03Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, covering:

• Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) (2865m / 9397ft) - Offers a panoramic view of Thimphu.
• Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang) - Houses one of the largest Buddha statues in the world.
• Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School) - Entry fee: INR 100 per person (Closed on weekends, national holidays, and during vacations).
• Textiles Museum - Entry fee: INR 250 per person.
• Handicrafts Shops - Entry fee: INR 100 per person (Closed on weekends and national holidays).
• Zangthopelri Lhakhang - A revered monastery.
• Simply Bhutan - Entry fee: INR 1000 per person (Closed on national holidays).
• Motithang Takin Preserve - Entry fee: INR 300 per person (Closed on Mondays).

Return to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 04Thimphu to Punakha / Wangdi

• Altitude: Punakha/Wangdue (1,273 m / 4,177 ft)
• Distance: 70 km | Duration: 3–3.5 hours (approx.)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Punakha / Wangdi via Dochu La Pass (3080m / 10102ft), offering stunning mountain views. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 05Punakha Local Sightseein

Explore Punakha with visits to:

• Punakha Dzong - Entry fee: INR 500 per person.
• Suspension Bridge - One of the longest in Bhutan.
• Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery) - A 30-minute walk (one way); Entry fee: INR 1000 per person.

Optional: White water rafting on the Punakha River (direct payment basis).

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Paro. En route, visit Royal Botanical Garden, Lamperi (Entry fee: INR 100 per person). Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

Day 07Paro Sightseeing

Explore Paro with visits to:

• Dungtse Lhakhang - A unique temple with beautiful murals.
• Bird’s Eye Viewpoint - Stunning panoramic views of Paro Valley and Paro International Airport (Best time: 10-11 AM).
• Ta Dzong (National Museum) - Entry fee: INR 300 per person (Closed on national holidays).
• Rinpung Dzong - Entry fee: INR 1000 per person.
• Kichu Lhakhang - One of the oldest temples in Bhutan; Entry fee: INR 500 per person.

Day 08Paro to Phuentsholing (Bhutan) – Siliguri (India)

• Distance & Duration: 176 km (Paro to Phuentsholing) + 165 km (Phuentsholing to Siliguri), approx. 4-5 hrs each

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Phuentsholing. En route, stop at Karbandi for Bhutan exit stamps and complete India entry formalities at Jaigaon. Proceed to Siliguri and check into the hotel.

Day 09Departure - Siliguri to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP)

• Distance & Duration: 15 km, approx. 40-45 min drive

After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Trip concludes.
