Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01Arrival at NJP / IXB – Transfer to Gangtok

Gangtok (5412 ft / 1650 m | 130 km | 4-5 hours drive)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (413 ft / 126 m), you will be greeted by our local representative, who will assist with your transfer to Gangtok.

Upon reaching Gangtok, check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.





Day 02Gangtok – Full-Day Sightseeing

Gangtok (5412 ft / 1650 m)
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok, covering:

  • Tashi View Point – Offering breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range.
  • Ganesh Tok – A scenic temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
  • Enchey Monastery – A 200-year-old monastery of great religious significance.
  • Flower Exhibition Center – Showcasing a vibrant collection of Himalayan flora.
  • Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on 2nd & 4th Saturdays, Sundays, and government holidays) – A hub for traditional Sikkimese arts and crafts.
  • Do-drul Chorten Stupa – A sacred Buddhist shrine.
  • Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Closed on 2nd & 4th Saturdays, Sundays, and government holidays) – Home to rare Tibetan artifacts and manuscripts.
  • Banjhakri Falls – A picturesque waterfall amidst lush greenery.

Return to the hotel in the evening and overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 03Gangtok – Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir – Transfer to Zuluk (Phadamchen)

Tshangu Lake (12,400 ft / 3780 m | 43 km | 2-hour drive one way)
New Baba Mandir (13,100 ft / 3994 m | 18 km | 1-hour drive from Tshangu Lake)
Zuluk (9400 ft / 2865 m | 44 km | 2-2.5 hours drive)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tshangu Lake, a glacial lake known for its serene beauty. Continue to New Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh.
From there, proceed towards Zuluk, making brief stops at:

  • Kupup Lake (Elephant Lake) – A stunning high-altitude lake (entry restricted for tourists).
  • Tukla Valley & Old Baba Mandir – Offering breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayas.
  • Nathang Valley – Known as the “Ladakh of the East.”
  • Thambi View Point – Providing a mesmerizing panoramic view of Zuluk and the surrounding valleys.
  • Battishay (32 Hairpin Loops) – An iconic zigzag road through the mountains.

Upon arrival in Zuluk (Phadamchen), check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Important Note:
To visit Tshangu Lake, New Baba Mandir & Zuluk, you must carry:

  • Two passport-sized photos.
  • Photocopy of a government-issued photo ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID; PAN Card & Aadhaar Card are not accepted).
  • For children under 18, a school or college ID is mandatory.
  • Original documents must be carried while traveling.

Optional Excursion:

  • Nathula Pass (14,137 ft / 4310 m) – Indo-China Border (Closed on Mondays for tourists; accessible only to Indian nationals with an advance permit and at an additional cost).

Day 04Zuluk (Phadamchen) – Transfer to Namchi

Namchi (5500 ft / 1675 m | 115 km | 4-5 hours drive)
After breakfast, drive to Aritar to visit Lampokhari Lake, where you can enjoy boating (on a direct payment basis).

Continue your journey to Namchi, check in at the hotel, and relax overnight.



Day 05Namchi Sightseeing – Transfer to Pelling

Pelling (5500 ft / 1675 m | 80 km | 3-4 hours drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit:

  • Char Dham (Siddheshwar Dham) – A spiritual complex featuring replicas of India’s most revered temples.

Later, proceed to Pelling, check in at the hotel, and stay overnight.
Optional Excursion:

  • Buddha Park, Ravangla (8000 ft / 2439 m) – Featuring a grand statue of Lord Buddha in a serene setting (available at an additional cost).

Day 06Pelling – Full-Day Sightseeing

Pelling (5500 ft / 1675 m)
After breakfast, explore Pelling’s top attractions:

  • Pemayangtse Monastery – One of Sikkim’s oldest and most significant monasteries.
  • Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk – Offering a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains.

In the afternoon, visit:

  • Rimbi Waterfalls – A beautiful natural cascade.
  • Khecheopalri Lake – A sacred wish-fulfilling lake.
  • Kanchenjunga Waterfalls – A majestic multi-tiered waterfall.

Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Pelling.



Day 07Pelling – Transfer to Kalimpong & Sightseeing

Kalimpong (4091 ft / 1247 m | 115 km | 4-5 hours drive)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing, including:

  • Dello Hills – Offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
  • Flower Nurseries – Showcasing a variety of exotic orchids and plants.
  • Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang Monastery – A significant Buddhist monastery.
  • Durbin Dara Hills – A scenic viewpoint with stunning landscapes.

Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Kalimpong.
Optional Activity:

  • Paragliding in Kalimpong (available at an additional cost).

Day 08Kalimpong – Departure to NJP / IXB

New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (413 ft / 126 m | 75 km | 3-4 hours drive)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport for your onward journey.

      • Guests can either walk (2 km) or hire a local taxi (INR 400-500 one way) to reach the Nepalese market.
    • Mirik Lake Activities:
      • Enjoy horse riding and boating (on a direct payment basis).
