Day 01Arrival in Cochin & Transfer to Munnar

Arrive at Cochin Airport / Railway Station, where you will be greeted by our representative. Begin your scenic drive to Munnar, a charming hill station located 1,800 meters above sea level and home to South India's highest peak, Anamudi (2,695 meters).
On the way, stop at the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls, stunning seasonal cascades surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy the breathtaking tea plantations along the route.

Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit:

• Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park) – Home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat species native to South India.
• Tea Museum – Discover the history and process of tea production in Munnar.

In the evening, take a short visit to Munnar town and explore the beautiful tea estates, often referred to as a green paradise.

Day 02Munnar – Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit:

• Mattupetty Dam – A scenic reservoir surrounded by rolling hills.
• Echo Point – Experience the natural echo phenomenon amidst the hills.
• Kundala Dam – A picturesque lake with stunning reflections.
• Pothamedu View Point – A panoramic spot offering breathtaking views of Munnar’s valleys and tea estates.
• Blossom Park – A serene garden perfect for a leisurely walk.

Enjoy shopping in Munnar town before returning to your hotel.

Day 03Munnar to Thekkady – Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady, a world-renowned wildlife destination. On arrival, check in to your hotel.
If time permits, visit:

• Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Spread across 777 sq. km, with 360 sq. km of thick evergreen forest, this sanctuary is known for its diverse flora and fauna. Declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, it is home to elephants, deer, bison, and exotic bird species.
• Spice Plantations – Learn about Kerala’s famous spices, including cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.

You may also enjoy a boating experience at Periyar Lake, offering a chance to spot wildlife along the banks.

Day 04Thekkady to Kumarakom – Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kumarakom (190 km / approx. 6 hours). On arrival, check in to your resort.

Kumarakom, known as the queen of Vembanad, is a picturesque backwater destination. Originally a small village, it has transformed into a sought-after resort town, offering breathtaking views of Vembanad Lake.

Explore:

• Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary – A haven for birdwatchers, featuring migratory and resident birds along scenic waterways and mangrove forests.
• Vembanad Lake – The largest lake in Kerala, perfect for a houseboat cruise or birdwatching.
• Pathiramanal Island – A serene, bird-rich island ideal for nature photography.
• Kottayam (optional) – A nearby town known for its rubber plantations and majestic churches.
