Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the pre-booked Dwarika’s Hotel. After check-in, you will receive a briefing on your daily activities.

Welcome to Nepal! Officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, this mystical country is nestled in the folds of the magnificent Himalayas. Nepal is renowned for its deep spiritual traditions, reflected in its temples, monasteries, and historical buildings. The Kathmandu Valley, with its rich history, is the cultural and artistic heart of Nepal.

Day 02Exploring Kathmandu

Morning: Optional Everest scenic flight or helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa.

  • Kathmandu Durbar Square: The heart of the capital, home to the temple of the Living Goddess, Kasthamandap (the legendary wooden temple that inspired the city's name), and the historic Hanuman Dhoka Palace. The square is a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s royal past.
  • Swayambhunath Stupa: Also known as the Monkey Temple, this ancient Buddhist site sits atop a hill with panoramic views of Kathmandu. The stupa, adorned with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, is said to be over 2,000 years old.

Afternoon: Visit Patan, also known as Lalitpur, the city of fine arts. Located 5 km from Kathmandu, Patan is famous for its well-preserved Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries, and ancient monuments. Highlights include:

  • Krishna Temple: A stunning Shikhara-style temple built by King Siddhi Narshing Malla.
  • Hiranya Varna Mahavihar: Also known as the Golden Temple, this 12th-century Buddhist monastery is an architectural marvel.

Day 03Fly to Pokhara (25-minute flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Pokhara.

Pokhara, often referred to as a paradise on Earth, is a stunning city at an altitude of 827m, located 200 km west of Kathmandu. Surrounded by swift-flowing rivers and sparkling lakes, it offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges.

Afternoon Activities:

  • Davis Falls: A unique waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel, named after a tourist who tragically fell into it.
  • Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave: One of Nepal’s longest caves, home to sacred formations believed to represent Lord Shiva.
  • Tibetan Village: Visit the Tashiling Tibetan Refugee Settlement, established in 1959, where you can explore Tibetan culture and craftsmanship.
  • Phewa Lake & Peace Pagoda: Enjoy a one-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake, offering stunning reflections of the Himalayas, followed by a visit to the Peace Pagoda for serene views of the valley.

After sightseeing, transfer to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 04Day Hike from Pokhara

After breakfast, embark on a scenic three-hour hike to Bhimirepani.

This gentle trek takes you through local villages and farmland, offering opportunities to observe Nepal’s diverse ethnic groups and traditional lifestyles. Passing through Sundar Gaun and Naraspur, a great bird-watching area, you’ll enjoy the tranquil beauty of the countryside before returning to the lodge.

Day 05Fly Back to Kathmandu & Sightseeing

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, proceed for a sightseeing tour of two of Nepal’s most revered religious sites:

  • Pashupatinath Temple: Dating back to 400 A.D., this is one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, the temple is also known for its cremation ghats, where Hindu funeral rites are performed.
  • Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in the world, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a spiritual hub surrounded by monasteries and colorful prayer flags.

Day 06 Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight to India.
