Day 01Auckland arrival

Arrival at Auckland Intl. airport and after immigration formalities you meet our driver cum representative who will transfer you at your hotel. Check-in and relax to recover from jet lag.

Day 02Auckland/ Half-day Auckland city tour with Sky tower (General Admission ticket)

Breakfast at the hotel; you proceed for a “half-day Auckland city tour with Sky tower (General Admission ticket)”. Start your tour with a visit to Mount Eden, the highest volcano among Auckland's 52 volcanoes. Admire the spectacular views of the city and its harbors from the summit. Continue to Cornwall Park, the largest volcanic park in Auckland. Stroll through the park and see the famous One Tree Hill. Next, visit the MJ Savage Memorial Park in Mission Bay. Enjoy the beautiful garden and panoramic views from east to west. Continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the world’s only architectural example of a Pacific-Gothic cathedral.

Day 03Auckland to Bay of Islands by tourist bus

After breakfast check-out from hotel and depart to bay of Islands. The Bay of Islands is one of New Zealand's most spectacular destinations to visit year-round. Its sheltered waters make it the perfect place to view a variety of marine life, including dolphins, whales and seals. Reach at the hotel and check-in. free day for you to explore the place on your own.

Day 04Bay of Islands/ Hole in the Rock Scenic Cruise including Dolphins and Island stop

Breakfast at the hotel; you proceed for “Hole in the Rock Scenic Cruise including Dolphins and Island stop”. There’s no better way to discover the Bay of Islands than from the water, and this half-day cruise from either Paihia or Russell lets you experience island life in depth, with a long stop at Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island. You’ll get the chance to look for dolphins, learn about history, ecology, and wildlife from your skipper, and see signature sights including the Hole in the Rock.

Day 05Bay of Islands to Rotorua via Auckland

Breakfast at the hotel; check-out from hotel and board a tourist bust to Auckland for your connecting bus to Rotorua. Arrival at Rotorua and check-in at the hotel. Remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Day 06Rotorua/ Agrodome Farm experience with Farm show and farm tour

Breakfast at the hotel; you proceed for a guided Agrodome Experience with Farm show and farm tour. Complete your trip to Rotorua with a visit to the Agrodome. If there's one thing people associate with New Zealand, it’s sheep, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to interact with the gentle creatures at the Agrodome Sheep Show and Farm Tour. This educational and family-friendly experience lets you join in with farming activities as you meet the farmers and their sheep.

Day 07Rotorua/ Waitomo Glow Worm Caves Tour

Breakfast at the hotel; proceed for Waitomo Glow Worm Caves Tour. These are limestone caves – created millions of years agao by fossills from the seabed floor. The Waitomo Caves lie to the west of Rotorua in lush Waitomo farmland. On arrival you will be greeted by a local guide and then descend into a guided tour through the World-renowned Waitomo Caves – boasting ageless Stalactites & Stalagmites, then down another level brings you to the Cathedral Cavern before you hop on board the unforgettable boat ride.  Marvel at Mother Nature’s light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto. Meander underground along the Waitomo River and gaze in silence at the myriads of glow worm lights that make up the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you’ll immediately experience a serene ambience and be fascinated and intrigued by tiny glowworms that light your way.

This glowworm species, is unique to New Zealand. T​housands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light as your expert guides provide informative commentary on the Caves’ historical and geological significance.

Day 08Rotorua to Christchurch by flight (flight is not included)

Breakfast at the hotel; you check-out from hotel and transfer to the airport to board a flight to Christchurch.

Day 09Christchurch/ Kaikoura Whale Watch Day Tour from Christchurch

Breakfast at the hotel; you proceed for Kaikoura Whale Watch Day Tour from Christchurch. Wildlife and nature enthusiasts will love this Kaikoura full-day trip from Christchurch. Look for impressive sperm whales along with migrating humpbacks, southern right whales, orcas, and dolphins on a cruise with live commentary. Visit a fur seal colony on land, glimpse the snowy peaks of the Kaikoura Ranges during your free time, and top off the day with wine tasting.

Day 10 Christchurch to Queenstown by road in a tourist bus via Lake Tekapo

Breakfast at the hotel; check-out and depart to Queenstown via Lake Tekapo. Upon arrival at your hotel in lake Tekapo check-in and rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 11 Queenstown/ Queenstown Skyline Gondola and Luge Adventure Combo

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Queenstown Skyline Gondola and Luge Adventure experience. Though not as adrenaline-packed as the Olympic sport, the Queenstown luge winds downhill with stunning 220-degree views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range beyond. Ride the Skyline Gondola up to the top of Bob’s Peak where you’ll experience the Skyline Luge Queenstown on five rides sure to satisfy any thrill-seeker. The Blue Track is a leisurely ride with a gentle gradient, easy bends, tunnels and dips. The Red Track has a steeper gradient and is a more adventurous ride with the thrill of banked corners, tunnels, dippers and cuttings.

Day 12 Queenstown/ Day trip to Milford Sounds coach and cruise tour with lunch

Breakfast at the hotel; you proceed for a full-day trip to Milford sounds coach and cruise tour with lunch. With waterfalls cascading down mighty cliffs and some of New Zealand’s most impressive natural scenery, Milford Sound is one the South Island’s must-see destinations—but its remote location makes it hard to reach alone. On this tour, spin through the New Zealand countryside in comfort from central Queenstown with your guide. Day 14 Franz Josef/ free day

Breakfast at the hotel; you are free to explore the mountain region on your own or opt for optional activities such as helicopter ride with snow landing, tandem Skydive, nature tour and many more.

Day 15 Franz Josef to Greymouth to Christchurch

After an early breakfast, check-out from hotel and depart to Greymouth by a tourist coach. Reach Greymouth railway station to board Tranz Alpine train to Christchurch. Explore the Southern Alps aboard the TranzAlpine train - one of the world's great train journeys, covering 223 kilometres (139 miles) each-way and taking just under 5 hours.

Our TranzAlpine train travels coast-to-coast through the 'Great Divide' and the indomitable spine of mountains that partitions New Zealand's South Island.

From the patchwork paddocks of the Canterbury Plains to the braided channels of the Waimakariri River. Flying over the 73m high Staircase Viaduct, then diving beneath the Main Divide within the 8km long Otira Tunnel. Meandering through lush valleys in Otira and Jacksons before spilling out onto the rugged west coast along the Grey River.

There are endless highlights to treasure aboard our world-famous TranzAlpine train.
